Description

Ballroom dancing is a exercise that boosts coordination, flexibility, muscle strength and endurance. It allows children to stay active while having fun. The Ballroom Classroom dance program exposes children to different styles of music and cultures. They learn to appreciate musical diversity and to recognize rhythms and melodies such as Merengue - Waltz - Cha Cha - Salsa - Swing - Two Step - Tango - Foxtrot. By learning dance steps and performing in front of an audience, children gain both social and self-confidence. Dance gives them an opportunity to express themselves and feel proud of their accomplishments.
