One Francophonie, a thousand Facets

One Francophonie, a thousand Facets

March is Francophonie Month—a perfect opportunity to celebrate the richness and diversity of French-speaking cultures. But how can we bring these realities into the classroom in a way that is both authentic and inclusive?

At times, young people may struggle to see themselves reflected in traditional representations of Francophonie. As educators, parents, and community members, we have the power to offer more representative narratives that resonate with their lived experiences—helping them better understand their identity and fostering a deeper sense of belonging.

In this Express ACCENT session, discover educational and artistic French-language resources rooted in diversity, inclusion, and intercultural understanding. In preparation for Francophonie Month, we’ll explore tools and ideas to help you enrich your classroom or community space while celebrating all the facets of Francophone identity.
